Year-Round Fun Awaits At 3 Indoor Playgrounds In Fort Lauderdale

Sep 1, 2025

Let’s be honest for a second. Your child probably has more energy than you know what to do with, and those Florida temps aren’t always the best for sending them to go run around outside. What you need in your life is an indoor playground that will provide the best time ever, no matter the season! With these locations, you can forget about the weather app and focus on just having the best day ever. As a Fort Lauderdale family photographer, I adore working with parents to help them find the local spots I know they’ll love! If you need indoor playgrounds in Fort Lauderdale, here are the ones I always recommend!

Flippo’s

1455 SE 17th St, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33316

Flippo’s is an indoor playground designed for kids ages 1-14. This spot tends to be my top recommendation when it comes to entertaining siblings. Younger kids will have a spot where they can safely play, while older kids aren’t going to get bored after about twenty minutes in! They have a number of attractions, including the Toddler Zone, the Jungle Gym, and the Ball Blaster. If you have middle schoolers, you can guarantee they’re about to have a great time in the laser maze and the arcade. In addition to their open play times, they offer party packages that will make sure your kid’s next birthday is one they’ll never forget!

The Tree House

1811 Cordova Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33316

The Tree House is a spot I think your entire family is going to love! Obviously, the kids are going to adore the open play space. This has several sections designed for explorers of all ages. There’s even an obstacle course and a zipline perfect for kids looking for an outlet for their energy! Younger kids will feel right at home in The Baby Jungle, where they can play safely without fear of the older kids. And by the way, the food at this place is legit! They have a partnership with The Doughfellas to offer artisan pizzas you’ll want to eat all day long.

Kids Hideout

1495 N Federal Hwy, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33304

Kids Hideout is my favorite spot for the younger years. This pretend village was designed to kick your child’s imagination into overdrive. They can order food at the tiny restaurant, put out imaginary fires at the station, treat stuffed animals at the veterinarian’s, and go camping in the wooden Airstream. On top of their open play times, they offer engaging classes that will boost your child’s social and emotional development.
