Have you ever caught yourself on a Saturday morning wondering, where can we go as a family? Here’s a list of my favorite places and things to do in Miami with kids if you want to get the most out of the city.

PLACES TO VISIT IN MIAMI FOR KIDS

One of Florida’s top-ranked cities for tourism with all the exquisite beaches and weather and historical and fun places to visit for both kids and adults, Miami is not only a perfect vacation destination but a city filled with fun locations, especially if you have kids!

There are various places and points in Miami that you and your little ones are going to love. I’ll let you know about a few of them here to start with.

MIAMI CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

Hey wait! Don’t move on just now. You must have thought about how boring a museum will be with all the historical and ancient stuff that is a big NO for kids.
But you might be a little wrong here my friend because Miami’s Children’s Museum, located in Watson Island Park, is all about creativity and inspiration for your kids along with learning about the various life aspects like wellness and health and everyday essential stuff.
This museum is packed with all the miniature real-life replicas of important places such as banks, grocery stores and etc. for your kids to interact with like grownups.Contact: 305-373-5437

PHILLIP AND PATRICIA FROST MUSEUM OF SCIENCE:

A reclining high technology science museum is so full of persuasive programming connecting people of all age groups with science.
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science also has a “MeLab” which is the most exciting thing for kids where kids learn and perform health-related experiments with their own bodies. YES WITH THEIR OWN BODIES! These hands-on activities provide the chance for the kids to learn and have simultaneously. Kids can see, touch or smell anything they’re learning about.
Having fun while they are learning? That’s a win!Contact: 305-434-9600

VENETIAN POOL

Because everyone is always up for the pool or splash activities!
Venetian Pool in Miami is one of the most beautiful swimming pools out there with waterfalls and Italian architecture. The pool is shallow and it can be a one-stop entertainment for your kids I tell you as once inside, your kids come out tired after hours of playing and having fun. Not just this, along with non-stop water play for your kiddos, the café there serves ice cream, pizza, and French fries for you kids to have an absolute favorite day.

This cute place has an adorable camel that your kids can feed a carrot to and a pair of the sweetest and naughtiest capuchin monkeys, Amaya and Ahmed, who love to pose for you to take their photos.
Since the visits are guided by skilled people there, your kids get to learn a lot about the primates.Contact: 305-969-3696
